Derek Hopkins

Owner, Lead Designer and Project Manager

Derek is a licensed engineer and skilled carpenter. After spending 10 years with a major engineering corporation, he decided it was time to follow his passion and make a career out of designing and building functional and unique outdoor spaces. Derek’s goal in founding N.E. Daynow Custom Builds is to create spaces that are aesthetically beautiful, perfectly fit the client’s needs, and are built to last.

Elizabeth Hopkins

Owner, Assistant Designer and Interior/Exterior Styling

Elizabeth has a background in art and left a Visual Manager position at a major corporation to pursue her passion in design and interior/exterior styling, assisting NEDBUILDS with design consultations and executing the final design/styling details. Elizabeth also owns a mural business with her mom, Interior Canvas KC.

Andrew Springer

Assistant Project Manager

Andrew has a background in engineering and carpentry. He left his job at a major engineering company to work with NEDBUILDS to create custom build designs and assist in project management. Andrew and his wife, Tara, also own Springer Custom Cabinets.

John Even

Lead Carpenter

John has many years experience in carpentry, and uses it to help create and manage NEDBUILDS projects.
